MARIA GESZLER

De Hongaarse kunstenares Maria Geszler behoort tot de topfiguren van de hedendaagse Europese keramiek. Naar aanleiding van haar 70e verjaardag zal in de herfst een grote tentoonstelling van haar werk plaatsvinden in het "Keramikmuseum Westerwald" in Höhr-Grenzhausen (D). Voor de galerie Frank Steyaert realiseerde ze exclusief een kleine reeks verzamelaarskopjes. Deze unikaten dragen, als bruikbare kunstwerken, alle artistieke kenmerken van haar groter sculpturaal werk. Ze geven de liefhebbers de mogelijkheid voor een bescheiden bedrag origineel werk van deze unieke kunstenares aan te schaffen.

The Hungarian artist Maria Geszler is one of the key figures of contemporary European ceramics.
On the occasion of her 70th birthcay, an important exhibition of her work will take place in the
"Keramikmuseum Westerwald" in Höhr-Grenzhausen, Germany.
Especially for the Frank Steyaert Gallery, Maria Geszler made a small series of collector’s cups. These unique pieces, as usable objects of art, carry all the artistic characteristics of her larger, sculptural work.
They offer art enthusiasts the opportunity to acquire an original piece by this unique artist for a moderate price.

There is also good news for those who missed out on the November-December exhibition, “Connected/Collected”.
